Daystar Baptist Missions, Inc. (DBMI) is a balanced, innovative, and dynamic independent Baptist mission board that exists to partner with Baptist churches of like faith and mission agencies in global evangelization and church planting. DBMI is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, missions organization.

Recognizing that other missionaries and mission boards of like faith are doing a good work in the harvest field, DBMI believes in building bridges with these missionaries and mission agencies so that global evangelization and church planting can be done in the most effective way possible.

Our Focus:

• To value the local church and seek to help sending churches and pastors to remain a significant part of their missionaries’ lives and ministries.

• Planting significant national churches that can be prepared and assisted in the planting of other churches in their country.

• To help our missionaries succeed in life and ministry by providing church planting teams that will encourage, strengthen, and equip missionaries to accomplish God’s will wherever they are called to serve.

• To provide practical experience for college interns by giving them an opportunity to work with a church planting team on the field for several weeks during each summer.
