What are our services like?
Our services seek to blend the traditional with the contemporary. Our primary guidance comes from what the scripture has to say but we also hope to show through our worship that the God of creation is still working in today in relevant ways. It's something that must be experienced to gather the full effect.
We hope that you'll attend one of our services Sunday at 9 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. and see for yourself!
What are small groups?
While we do need to gather together for corporate worship, we believe smaller groups are necessary to live out all that Christ has for us. We have a growing number of groups studying a wide variety of topics that you don't have the opportunity to cover in the typical church setting.Visit our Small Groups page to find where you can plug in!
What do you have for my kids?
Lewis Kids Connection is an exciting program for your kids that uses zany characters, engaging experiences and fun facts to teach your kids about the world and practical truth from the Bible.
We care about the spiritual growth of kids and we know that the LKC program will get them excited about the Bible and learning more about the Savior!
How about my teens?
God has planted a powerful Teen ministry at Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. So many teenagers in this ministry have experienced the power of God in their lives as He has guided them through the ups and downs of middle school and high school.
As this ministry has grown in number, Lewis Memorial has been asking God how the church can better minister to the teenagers of our region. God has answered our prayer with the development and construction of the new Student Ministry building. This building allows us to continue to expand our outreach to teens. Week in and week out, staff and volunteers in our youth ministry have the privilege of being used by the Lord to impact the lives of these young people with the truth of God’s Word. We’re excited about what God already has done, and about what he’s going to do in the years to come.
How do I join the church?
We are glad that you are considering becoming a part of our community of faith. There are two requirements for any person who wishes to become a member of LMBC. They must have a relationship with the Lord and they need to have qualified that through believers baptism (by immersion). If the individual is already a believer but has not been baptized, we will gladly offer them the opportunity in an upcoming service.
We also offer a bi-monthly class called "Starting Point" where we will help you through the process and explain all that LMBC has to offer.
What can I do here at LMBC Online?
We think of our website as a great new frontier for ministering and reaching out to the community we can't physically reach. While we have nearly all the general information you could ask for (online messages, an events calendar, group lists, etc.) we envision this site continually growing to become a place where church members and people all around the world can interact and be part of a worldwide community. So, you'll want to drop by often to see what new features we're adding!
