Being diagnosed with cancer is nothing short of scary, especially when you have had a father and brother die of cancer. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, LMBC provided me with a prayer pager. In my worst times of anxiety in the middle of the night, through all the tests, the morning of my surgery and treatment thereafter, this pager would go off, letting me know that someone was praying for me. The cards from my church family and the many visits before, during and after surgery was such an uplifting experience. The love my church family showed to me and my family was incredible. Can you imagine how much more God, our Father, loves us!!
